Matty Cardarople - American Cherry, Stranger Things, Reservation Dogs (2023) #video

Today I sat down and talked about films, life, and everything in between with one of the best in the business, Matty Cardarople. You may know him from Stranger Things and Reservation Dogs, but soon you'll get to know the New York Film Academy alum on a whole other level.

Matty has always wanted to be an entertainer. Born and raised in Exeter, New Hampshire, Cardarople fueled his creative passion by entertaining friends and family with his comedic skills. After moving to Los Angeles he studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and has been perfecting his craft by studying with Lesly Kahn. Ultimately Cardarople was discovered by Luke and Owen Wilson who gave him his career start with roles in the feature films Blonde Ambition and Drillbit Taylor.

Matty went on to be in all the movies and commercials you know and love, but did you know that he writes poetry? His first self-published book of poems is titled Space Cadet and he just released his second titled Happy Birthday Everyday which both are available for purchase online.

His latest endeavor, American Cherry, is a psychological thriller romance about a mysterious, troubled boy who meets an impressionable girl in their small town. Together they embark on a romance where his love turns into an obsession as he tries to protect her from her dysfunctional family, he makes her a video diary that confesses an intricate story of love, mental illness, and the tragic consequences if left untreated.

So, if you’re a fan of Matty or just want to see him in a different role, be sure to check out American Cherry, starring Hart Denton and Sarah May Sommers, now available on streaming platforms today!
