I've really been into collecting cards lately. I'm not sure why really, I think a lot of it has to do with nostalgia, but either way, because of which I recently ended up at Collect-A-Con with my kid a few weeks back. We weren't able to attend on Saturday because of a scheduling conflict, and because of which we missed a performance by Vanilla Ice.

Our first card collecting event was a blast, and while my son and I don't need another hobby to bond over we had a great time. While in attendance, we were gifted a ton of cards, and there was nothing more exciting than racing home to analyze our spoils. Unboxing some good ones didn't hurt either!

As much as I enjoy Hocus Pocus, Ladybugs was always the film for me! While comparing the two is like apples and oranges, they do share Vinessa Shaw. And while soccer films aren’t for everyone, at least you get a free bowl of soup with the sports film!

Once upon a time, my Mother chanced on the film, Bindlestiffs, at the local Redbox. Little did she know, that film would become somewhat of a household legend. We’d buy it as gifts for friends and family for years to come, and ultimately I’d befriend a handful of the people involved in the project.

Udo Kier is one of those artists that have such a large and diverse resume that it’s daunting even beginning to decide what to talk about. I can remember walking up to his merch booth, and here’s Udo grinning ear to ear with a collection of images showered around him. It reminded me of those proud parents watching their children play at the park.

Psycho Goreman seems to already be a massive success. With countless positive responses to a film that was supposed to drop last year, PG seems to have found its audience thanks to a COVID-related delay. If you grew up weeding through the catalog titles of your local video store then this film is definitely up your alley.

Gaelstone Media Group, the studio known for the upcoming Amazon Prime series Action Mice, announced its full acquisition of the classic ‘80s character Panda Khan. The iconic panda is well-known to nostalgia lovers who remember him as a regularly featured character in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book crossovers. Toy collectors will recall that Panda Khan also made an appearance as an action figure in Playmates original TMNT toy line back in 1990.
